Admission Process

***Due to a period of restructuring, Hong Kong Sudbury is not accepting new student applications at this time***

The Sudbury model differs significantly from the traditional understanding of education and is completely different from mainstream schools and even other alternative schools.

Therefore, we recommend that parents first watch relevant videos and interviews, and read Sudbury books, frequently asked questions, articles, etc., to gain a deeper understanding of the Sudbury model.

Steps:

  1. Read/watch the information on this website and complete the Parent Enquiry Form
  2. Attend a Sudbury workshop for parents
  3. Schedule an online meeting with our Admission Committee (small group session)
  4. Schedule an individual online meeting with our Admission Committee (individual session)
  5. Read the enrollment information
  6. Visit +Interview
  7. Parent questionnaire
  8. Trial period of four weeks
  9. After completing the above steps, if Hong Kong Sudbury, the child, and the parents all find it suitable, the child will be officially enrolled.
